1981
- Boca Woods Country Club officially established.
- Community development begins with plans for ~645 homes.
- The Woods Course opens (designed by Joe Lee).
Mid - 1980s
- Second 18-hole course (Lakes) completed.
- Clubhouse facilities expand to support growing Membership.
1990s
- Boca Woods evolves into a fully established private residential Club.
- Tennis, fitness, and social programming begin to grow.
2000s
- Equity Membership model strengthened for long-term stability.
- Early Clubhouse updates and enhancements implemented.
2010 - 2015
- Focus on revitalizing social programming and improving operations.
- Member amenities continue gradual upgrades.
2016 - 2020
- Major modernization planning begins.
- Investment in practice facilities: upgraded range, short-game areas, and coaching programs.
- Demographic begins to shift to younger, more active Members.
2021 - 2022
- Significant Clubhouse renovation and expansion completed.
- New fitness & wellness center, dining spaces, locker rooms, and modernized interiors unveiled.
- Club transitions culturally toward a lifestyle-focused community.
2023
- Membership continues to grow; average Member age decreases notably.
- Racquets program expands: more tennis, pickleball, and bocce activity.
2024
- Woods Course fully renovated by Rees Jones, Inc.
- Greens, tees, bunkers, and fairways upgraded to modern standards.
- Course reopens on December 8, 2024.
2025 - Today
- Boca Woods is now recognized as a modern, active, multi-generational private Club.
- Strategic long-term vision centers on lifestyle, wellness, community connection, and continuous improvement.
